Job Description Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross functional engineering projects focused on the enhancement, cost reduction and lifecycle management of PET detector modules and related technologies. This role ensures delivery of high quality engineering solutions on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities, working closely with Engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external partners.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end project planning and execution from concept through validation, transfer to manufacturing, and post‑release improvements.
  • Define project roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, and budgets.
  • Matrix leadership of multidisciplinary engineering team in defining and completing engineering related tasks. 
  • Lead cross functional team including manufacturing, quality, supply chain and regulatory to ensure efficient project scope definition and manufacturing phase in.
  • Guide problem‑solving activities (root cause analysis, design of experiments, FMEAs) to ensure data‑driven decisions.
  • Provide accurate, timely project updates to senior leadership, including progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
  • Work with Key suppliers to introduce new features to improve performance and support current parts cost reduction.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Engineering/ physics.; M.Sc.- advantage.
  • 5 years hands on experience as a design/ process engineer.  
  • At least 3 years of management experience in leading engineering projects. 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Working knowledge of product lifecycle management and engineering design steps.
  • Experience in medical systems – advantage
  • Proficient in working with project management tools. PMP Agile certification- advantage
