With nVent, you’ll develop engineering and leadership skills through a variety of projects and experiences, formal and informal training, and leadership opportunities. You can apply what you’ve learned in engineering courses such as Modeling in Manufacturing, Heat Transfer, Circuits, and others. Our engineering co-op students are involved in designing, manufacturing, and optimizing high-amperage (up to 28kA) power distribution systems and equipment. These systems are used in nuclear, solar, fossil fuel, and hydro-electric power plants and large industrial facilities around the world.
We are currently recruiting co-op students to start work in the fall of 2026, or the spring of 2027.

Your experience as a Co-Op Engineer goes beyond the daily activities of your role. In addition to the support of your manager, you can expect to grow and develop through exposure to leadership, engaging in development opportunities, and networking with other early career professionals.
