Responsibilities:
- Manages the optimal application of engineering resources.
- Manages the overall design process in his defined product field.
- Manages prototype development activities for new products in his defined product field.
- Supports effective production processes.
- Leads product design efforts to ensure that Industry Standards and Certifications are achieved in defined product field.
- Oversees product management groups in his defined product field.
- Support team to develop DGS products for Chinese market.
- Supervision of the 2 managers in charge of both activities (MS & DGS) and their team.
- Interface and coordination of key engineering initiatives with EBG engineering.
- Technical support for China BA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical engineering.
- 10 years and above experiences in a similar position and industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical seal will be a plus.
- Broad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own discipline and a knowledge of concepts and principles in other disciplines.
- In depth understanding of how own area integrates within the organization sub-function and basic commercial awareness.
- Excellent oral and written English communication. German could be a plus.
- Strong technical knowledge of similar products.
- Problem solving.
- Cost driven.
- Team player.
