What You’ll Do

We are looking for an experienced Product Security Engineer to lead the Product Security Life Cycle within our team. This vital role involves close collaboration with Global product teams, coordinating penetration tests, and resolving security issues. A key responsibility will be developing and maintaining our application security pipeline automation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with product engineering teams, providing guidance on application security processes and objectives.

  • Performed secure code reviews for web and mobile applications developed in diverse programming languages, ensuring adherence to security best practices.

  • Lead the Security Automation through coding using Python within our cloud environment

  • Assist in managing Akamai Web Application Firewall and Bot Manager by reviewing alerts and policies on regular basis

  • Optionally, manage the penetration testing process, working closely with third-party testers to generate detailed reports, recommend remediation strategies, and effectively communicate results to development teams and product owners.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, a related field or equivalent experience

  • Background in Application / Product Security techniques and best practices

  • Strong Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills within automation scripts

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to partner with other leaders across the global business to identify opportunities and risks

  • Solid understanding of Software Development principles

  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, and JavaScript. At Least one programming language is a PLUS

  • Knowledge of penetration testing processes and report generation

  • Familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Maven)

  • Hands-on experience with security testing tools, including Snyk, Checkmarx, Nikto, and Nmap

  • Proficiency in SAST, DAST, and SCA vulnerability triage and assessment

  • Agile project management experience (e.g., Jira)

  • Knowledge or familiarity with AWS is a Plus
    Certifications: CEH, ISC2 CC, Security+, eWPT, eWPTX, PWPE, OSCP, OSWA, OSWE or similar



Location: Bangalore, India

Working Arrangement:  Hybrid | In office 3 days per week.
