As an ENGINEER, NAND SILICON DESIGN VALIDATION at Micron, you will be part of an ambitious group committed to developing and validating top-tier NAND Flash memory products. This position is distinct since it covers both pre-silicon concept development and practical post-silicon validation. You will acquire a full understanding of the product lifecycle. You will work on modern technologies, conduct simulations, and compose detailed validation documentation. Your role will be key in identifying and resolving design-related problems to secure outstanding product performance.

Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with R&D teams, designers, and various engineering departments to troubleshoot and validate device testing programs. You will be the key point of contact for critical product-specific issues, ensuring a seamless interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Quality Assurance departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and qualify new innovative NAND Flash memory products
  • Define and validate product configuration parameters
  • Apply CAD tools and Verilog simulations for build verification and in-depth circuit analysis
  • Identify build marginalities and recommend circuit-related fixes
  • Perform electrical failure analysis to determine root causes of device issues
  • Use engineering benches and testers for device characterization and failure analysis
  • Support preparation of engineering samples
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work to improve efficiency and quality
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing AI-enabled enhancements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering is required. You must have at least 2 years of experience in validation, design validation, or circuit/device design in the semiconductor industry.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in semiconductor device physics and circuit building
  • Hands-on experience with Verilog and Cadence tools
  • Familiarity with AI/ML efficiency tools to support engineering workflows
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like JMP and Python
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with a dedication to quality and continuous improvement
  • Team-oriented and adaptable in dynamic environments with stringent qualification requirements
  • Baseline digital proficiency and AI literacy for responsible use of AI-enabled tools
