You’ll have:
Several years of relevant industry experience in a large enterprise company
Experience working in a platform engineering team in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
Experience in troubleshooting and analysing complex problems
Ability to see and act upon potential issues, whether they are technical changes, processes, or procedures
PowerShell skills
Solid hands-on background in technology operations, with demonstrable ability in a range of technologies including:
EntraID
Active Directory
DNS
DHCP
Infoblox
Provide leadership and development of the Authentication platforms
Very high energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for delivering an awesome service
Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills
You will:
The Authentication Services Team are responsible for the user experience with regards to authentication at Sky with such technology as Active Directory, EntraID, DNS and DHCP. The team have end to end responsibility for their platforms such as design, development & engineering and operations.
The role will include the following functions:
To provide BAU support to Authentication Services
Provide out of hours support via an on-call rota
Deliver effective and timely Support for Authentication Programmes & Projects
Identify and propose improvements to the services provided by the team
To act as a bridge between technology and the business to fully understand requirements and then turn them into solutions
To be accountable for managing the quality of service for the platform
Highly customer focused analytical approach to decision making and problem resolution with experience of juggling multiple tasks and priorities
Lead technical discussions across departments and partner companies
Provide technical expertise to the delivery of critical Sky Group projects
