About the role
At Four Seasons Nashville , the Engineering Team plays a critical role in ensuring our guests experience a safe, comfortable, and impeccably maintained environment. The Engineering Technician supports daily hotel operations by maintaining, repairing, and improving all building systems while delivering service excellence aligned with Four Seasons standards.
What you will do
- Diagnose, service, and repair hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior finishes, paint, and décor
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and accurately maintain logs and records
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and associated building systems
- Respond efficiently and courteously to guest maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas
- Respond to emergency situations such as fires, power failures, and critical system outages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering areas, including grease traps and plumbing systems
- Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct (EmPact)
- Work professionally and collaboratively with co‑workers and supervisors
- Install or relocate equipment as operational needs require
- Assist with hotel energy conservation initiatives
- Support renovations by installing electrical and mechanical systems, outlets, and exhibit set‑ups
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience in hotel engineering or general building maintenance
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and life‑safety systems
- Ability to operate computer-based maintenance or work order systems
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
