Job Summary
This role is responsible for directing designated function/departments to contribute to the overall success of the organization. The role ensures operational success, strategic alignment, and integration of activities with other major organizational functions. The role coordinates global resources, provides valuable counsel to client IT executives, and drives long-term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes strong professional relationships with customers, acts as a business partner, and aligns the organization's capabilities with the client's business objectives.
  • Manages the sales pipeline, generating new initiatives, and nurturing solution opportunities to drive substantial incremental orders, revenue, and margins across the organization's portfolio.
  • Coordinates global resources, sales specialists, and partners to maximize the organization's solutions' impact, while coaching account team members for optimal performance.
  • Focuses on senior business management challenges and strategies, providing valuable advice and counsel to client IT executives.
  • Manages all activities within the account, engages with executives strategically, and ensures integrated planning and sales execution.
  • Builds long-term growth opportunities, gaining business buy-in by providing a solid business rationale and risk assessment, while ensuring the achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Identifies and nurtures key performers, fostering talent development, and creating a succession plan.
  • Leads contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Monitors key performance indicators and financial metrics to meet financial targets and drive accountability.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the account management function, implementing best practices, and optimizing processes for efficiency.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in relationship management, or a related field.
