As an Employee Relations Specialist at Devoted you will:

  • Manage End-to-End Employee Relations: Oversee the full scope of ER matters, including conflict resolution, policy compliance, and the administration of corrective actions.

  • Drive Process Consistency: Partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to ensure standardized and fair ER processes across all assigned client groups.

  • Deliver Results in Fast-Paced Environments: Navigate a dynamic, rapidly evolving workplace, utilizing a results-driven approach to solve complex people-related challenges.

  • Facilitate Resolution and Compliance: Act as a subject matter expert in balancing organizational policy with empathetic conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
     

Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Act as point of contact for employees and leadership within assigned client groups for any type of conflict resolution.

  • Ensure timely and compliant handling of all assigned grievance, discipline and policy interpretation requests, and support navigating internal resources by providing advice and counsel.

  • Work collaboratively on employee relations matters such as corrective actions including warnings or performance improvement plans. 

  • Conduct fair and thorough investigations through resolution. Maintain accurate files, documentation and follow-up.

  • Make suggestions to leaders and HR Business Partners on employee engagement, policy or process improvements based on trends.

  • Support interactive processes with employees seeking reasonable accommodation in partnership with Benefits and Legal.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws.

  • Facilitate training to build employee relations skills among people managers.

  • Assist with ad-hoc employee relations and HR department projects.

  • Ability to exercise discretion related to sensitive employee matters.

Desired skills and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Approximately 3+ years or more of relevant experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within Human Resources with a particular focus on employee relations.

  • Experience in a high growth environment, with a non-exempt workforce. Experience in a high-growth organization with a non-exempt workforce, preferably within a call center or contact center environment.

  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulations, both at the federal and state level.

  • Experience using Workday

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 / year 

The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
