About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Employee Relations Associate to join our People team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters and play a key part in ensuring the vertical compliance with Saudi labor law and the regulations. Working closely with People Business Partners and People Operations, you will help investigate employee grievances, support disciplinary processes, and contribute to creating a positive, fair, and legally compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

  •   Serve as an initial point of contact for employee inquiries and workplace concerns, escalating complex cases to People Business Partners as needed.
  •   Assist in conducting fair and thorough investigations into employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and policy violations in accordance with the Saudi Labor Law.
  •   Support the administration of disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and termination processes while ensuring full compliance with legal requirements.
  •   Monitor and help enforce company policies and procedures to align with the Saudi Labor Law, MHRSD regulations, GOSI requirements, and internal governance standards.
  •   Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations case files, documentation, and tracking logs.
  •   Collaborate with People Business Partners on day-to-day generalist activities including onboarding support, employee engagement initiatives, and HR reporting.
  •   Help track and analyze ER metrics (e.g., grievance resolution times, case volumes) and prepare periodic reports for management review.
  •   Support the development and rollout of employee awareness campaigns on workplace policies, code of conduct, and labor rights.
  •   Stay current with updates to Saudi labor regulations, Saudization (Nitaqat) requirements, and relevant employment legislation to advise the team proactively.

Your expertise

Experience

  •   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  •   1–2 years of experience in an HR generalist, HRBP support, or employee relations role, preferably within the Saudi market.
  •   Internship or cooperative training experience in an HR department is a plus for fresh graduates.

Skills

  •   Strong foundational knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI regulations, Wage Protection System (WPS), and Nitaqat/Saudization program.
  •   Familiarity with MHRSD platforms and procedures (e.g., Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI online services).
  •   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

 Attributes

  •  Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  •   Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with employees at all levels.
  •   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems is an advantage.
  •   Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
