Diageo

Employee Experience Specialist

Sydney, Australia Full time

Job Description :

Who are we?

While the name Diageo may be unfamiliar to you, our brands have most likely been with you while you create unforgettable moments of connection and celebration. Imagine crafting the future some of the most well-loved spirits brands across the world, including Smirnoff, Johnnie Walker, Bundaberg Rum and building possibilities within growing brands such as Don Julio, Ciroc, Ello and Aviation Gin. By joining Diageo Australia, you will inspire an exceptional team around you, with offices and teams working from 8 locations across Australia, to build incredible performance and unleash your own potential.

What will your role be?

As an Employee Experience Specialist within Diageo Australia’s Facilities team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the everyday workplace experience across our manufacturing sites and office environments. This role is central to ensuring our people have safe, well-run and welcoming spaces that enable them to do their best work.

You’ll be responsible for the delivery of general services that underpin business continuity and employee wellbeing — including cleaning, security, maintenance, HVAC, access control, landscaping, pest control, uniforms and office services. Working hands-on and close to the detail, you’ll manage service providers, budgets and compliance to ensure our workplaces consistently meet Diageo’s global standards.

Partnering closely with teams across HSE, HR, Procurement and Supply, you’ll help create environments that are not only compliant and cost-effective, but genuinely enhance the day-to-day experience of our people across all Diageo Australia sites.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Take ownership of day-to-day general services operations, ensuring high-quality delivery across cleaning, catering, maintenance, pest control, landscaping and workplace services
  • Build strong capability in health, safety and compliance by ensuring services align with Diageo policies, legal requirements and HSE standards
  • Develop your commercial acumen through managing operating budgets, tracking spend and finding opportunities for cost efficiency
  • Strengthen your vendor and partner management skills by selecting, negotiating and partnering with service providers to deliver consistent outcomes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting smarter service delivery models, sustainability initiatives and operational reporting

What will you bring to the table?

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Administration or a related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in facilities or general services management, ideally within a manufacturing or complex operational environment
  • Proven experience working with external vendors, managing contracts and supporting cost control initiatives
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety and quality standards, with a strong focus on compliance and risk management
  • Confidence working with systems and data, including SAP and advanced Excel
  • A practical, organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and respond quickly to operational needs
