As our Employee Engagement Specialist in London, you will play a crucial role in shaping day-to-day employee experience and bringing PitchBook’s culture to life. You will serve as both a culture ambassador and local program owner, someone who understands employee needs, builds trust across teams, and turns global initiatives into meaningful local experiences. Your positive attitude and behind the scenes efforts make the employee experience at PitchBook unique.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Own and execute monthly engagement programming that fosters genuine connection across teams and offices with a focus on EMEA and APAC regions, aligning to both the global calendar and reflecting local interests and cultures
- Partner with local and global Employee Resource Groups to support heritage month programming and community building initiatives
- Scale and drive impact of PitchBook Cares, our philanthropy program, with giving campaigns, volunteer programs, and our annual Global Volunteer Week
- Support internal communication with creation and delivery of high-quality messaging that provides information in simple yet compelling ways – including but not limited to email campaigns, digital signage, company intranet, and more
- Support the new employee experience to ensure employees feel welcomed and engaged from day one through onboarding programs, new hire networking opportunities, and more
- Partner with leaders and teams to reinforce a culture of appreciation through storytelling, milestone celebrations, and employee spotlights including Panther Awards, Office Awards, Values Week, and our internal peer-to-peer recognition platform, CHEERS
- Collect employee feedback and insights to continuously evolve engagement programs and strategies
- Partner with HR, Facilities, and regional General Managers to support local operations as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees in all matters and communications
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of experience supporting employee engagement including managing large-scale events including vendor management, contract negotiation, planning, budget management, event organization, execution, and logistics
- Prior experience successfully supporting Employee Resource Groups is preferred
- Ability to present and facilitate material effectively to groups in person and via
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Visible passion for workplace happiness and desire to foster a work environment consistent with PitchBook’s core values
- Proven talent to think on your feet and handle issues with resourceful solutions
- Demonstrated success in a role requiring extensive customer interaction
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software
- Strong creative and visual communication skills with the ability to design engaging posters, digital signage, and compelling employee-facing messaging; experience with Canva preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Working Conditions:
At the heart of our company is a belief in the power of in-person collaboration. This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
