Brown & Brown is seeking an EB Producer to join our growing team!

A dedicated and knowledgeable healthcare insurance sales professional with a strong track record of advising organizations on their health and welfare benefits needs. Skilled in assessing client needs, navigating complex healthcare regulations, and recommending solutions. Experienced in selling health and welfare coverage solutions, with a deep understanding of benefits structures, vendor management and enrollment processes, and ongoing service needs. Known for building trust, delivering clear and empathetic explanations of coverage options, and supporting clients through renewals, claim questions, and annual open enrollment. Consistently achieves sales goals through strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and long‑term client relationship management.

How you will contribute

  • Identify prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, using centers of influence, and/or making personal visits.

  • Develop and expand new business revenue from new and existing clients.

  • Deploy multi-modal sales and marketing techniques to include use of digital tools, CRMs, LinkedIn, and other enablement applications.

  • Leverage sales and marketing campaigns to develop and manage overall pipeline of opportunities.

  • Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services.

  • Participate in the presentation of our services at prospect meetings.

  • Lead the development of RFP responses and overall proposal development.

  • Work closely with Leader to set and achieve sales goals. 

  • Bring new business prospects to closure. 

  • Assit with day-to-day client service as needed and in concert with service team.

  • Manage and maintain overall customer relationship.

  • Manage profitability of book-of-business based on Brown & Brown objectives.

  • Ensure that customers are institutionalized within Brown & Brown business with multiple points of contact across the organization.

  • Assit with the development of overall health and welfare strategy and ensure Brown & Brown capabilities support client needs.

  • Maintain and develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • A current Life and Health and/or licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in applicable state must be maintained. 

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience at an insurance brokerage preferred. Additional insurance education is a plus.

  • Ability to actively generate prospects and set appointments for new client opportunities.

  • Energetic, highly motivated team player who has strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with current and prospective clients and markets. 

  • Team player who is driven by the opportunities of the competitive marketplace and by being on a winning team.

  • Flexibility to meet the needs of our clients through initiative and integrity.

  • This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle.  If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.

Pay Range

$175,000 - $225,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
