We are seeking a strategic, organized, self‑starter to join our Global Technology & Operations team at AllianceBernstein’s headquarters in Nashville, TN. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and continuously evolve a highly regarded rotational development and internship program that has been successfully growing since 2000.
The program’s success is driven by the collective engagement of executives, managers, and employees who generously contribute their time by attending career fairs, interviewing candidates, mentoring participants, and directly managing Associates and interns. Building strong relationships and effectively coordinating this cross‑organizational collaboration is central to the role. The Program Manager will work within the established framework of the program while thoughtfully adapting it to meet the needs of the local talent market. This role plays a critical part in developing and sustaining a robust talent pipeline for our corporate office and future leadership at AllianceBernstein.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Program Leadership: Design, execute, and continuously enhance a rotational development and internship program aligned with business priorities and long‑term talent strategy.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Develop and implement recruitment strategies in partnership with senior leadership and people team to build a sustainable early‑career talent pipeline.
Program & Stakeholder Management: Lead end‑to‑end rotation cycles every six t months, including project intake, evaluation, executive approvals, placements, and post‑program transitions.
Mentorship & Talent Development: Design and manage a two‑level mentoring model that engages both junior staff and senior leaders to support participant growth and engagement.
Onboarding & Employee Experience: Deliver structured onboarding and orientation experiences that accelerate effectiveness and integration for new Associates and interns.
Learning & Development: Collaborate with IT, Operations, and external partners to deliver ongoing professional development and educational programming.
Executive Communication & Presentation: Facilitate end‑of‑rotation presentations for senior leadership and oversee graduation and recognition events.
Campus & Early‑Career Engagement: Oversee campus recruiting strategy and execution, including career fairs, on‑campus events, and employer branding efforts.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with Human Capital to plan and execute targeted recruiting initiatives, such as hackathons, information sessions, and special events.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of program management expertise, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for developing early‑career talent:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with exposure to technology and/or operations environments preferred
Demonstrated ability to serve as a positive and credible brand ambassador for the firm
Proven project and program management experience, with strong organizational, leadership, and communication capabilities
Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Strong collaborator with a positive, solutions‑oriented mindset
Effective communicator with experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization
High degree of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential and personnel‑related matters
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and decision‑making skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools and learning management systems (e.g., Zoom, Brainshark, Workday Learning) is a plus
Ability to coordinate and deliver multiple programs and initiatives concurrently
Strong relationship‑building skills with executives, senior leaders, project managers, and early‑career talent
Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
Comfort managing a high volume of program participants and employee inquiries, including performance‑related discussions
Strong sense of ownership and client‑focused mindset
Confident written, verbal, and presentation skills
