The EMEA GV Payroll team is looking for a manager for a team of 10 members covering payroll in Spain, Romania, Poland, Czechia and Slovakia.
This role is responsible for managing accurate payroll delivery through metrics and documentation, implementing controls and system changes, and ensuring vendor coordination. The role oversees audits, collaborates with other departments, and develops training programs, while also contributing to process improvement and talent management. The role also ensures timely implementation of system-related updates and process-related changes.
Responsibilities:
• Manages and ensures the timely delivery of metrics and comprehensive documentation for all payroll-related activities to meet objectives and maintain accuracy.
• Implements process controls to ensure prompt resolution of errors and effective implementation of permanent fixes.
• Updates and implements all system and process-related changes to maintain efficient operations.
• Manages vendor deliverables and escalates and resolves discrepancies promptly.
• Ensures appropriate and regular audits of payroll data, including employee hours, salaries, and deductions, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting of payroll data, while resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Develops and implements training programs for employees on payroll policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Acts as subject matter expert, identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in payroll/HR administration, payroll processing, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
Knowledge & Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of core payroll processes and systems
• SAP global payroll or ADP Global View experience would be a plus
• Experience in Payroll process automation and harmonization across country in a multinational environment would be a plus
• Very strong leadership skills, advocating for payroll while driving constructive partnership with HR, HRGS, TR, Controllership, Payroll Accounting at local and regional level
• Payroll vendor management skills
• Experience with SOX and local legal compliance and audits
We offer:
The base pay range for this role is 182,800 PLN to 277,150 PLN annually with
additional cash compensation opportunities in the form of annual cash incentive bonuses. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity awards (typically
granted in the form of restricted stock units) that are independently granted by
the Company's U.S. parent corporation, HP Inc., on a discretionary basis under
its equity plan. Pay varies by job-related skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions, experience and work location.
