The Opportunity - EMEA Area Demand & Supply Analyst
This position works out of UAE office in the Abbott Nutrition Division.
This is a fixed term contract role for 6 months
About Nutrition Division
Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Millions of people around the world count on our leading brands – including Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure®, Glucerna® and ZonePerfect® – to help get the nutrients they need to live their healthiest life.
EMEA Area Demand & Supply Analyst will coordinate with countries to collect data, such as sales numbers or KPIs, and ensure informational accuracy and integrity, generate reports and visualizations for stakeholders and help leadership with strategic planning.
He/She is skilled at designing and maintaining databases and data systems.
What You'll Do:
Collaborating with countries to collect and analyze data.
Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Visualizing data with graphs, infographics and other methods.
Structuring large data sets to find usable information.
Helping develop reports and analyses.
Crafting presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
Working with technical groups to support the collection, integration, and retention of the data sources.
Analyzing existing tools and databases and providing software solution recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
At least 3 years of work experience
Skills:
Proficiency with SQL & SAS (mid to expert level)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
Effective oral and written communication with the ability for analyzing, slicing, and dicing data while deriving significant insights.
Natural curiosity and self-directed ability to seek out information and meet goals/deadlines.
