Job Description

  

Are you ready to lead a critical finance function across Europe for a global technology innovator? As the EMEA Accounts Payable Leader, you’ll ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient financial operations for multiple entities. Reporting to the Director of Global Accounts Payable and Travel, you’ll manage a mix of outsourced resources, driving process excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee accounts payable processes for EMEA entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage performance of the outsourced team in Bucharest.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, leading monthly governance reviews with stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing timely reports and analysis.
  • Drive process improvements and implement system enhancements in partnership with project teams.
  • Ensure documentation and standard operating procedures are up to date.
  • Act as escalation point for complex queries and ensure resolution.
  • Support automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.

What you need

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills – required
  • Experience managing accounts payable processes – required
  • Background in shared services or global business services – preferred
  • Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams – required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and ERP systems; SAP – required
  • Accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA) – an advantage
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Europe – required
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills – required
