Summary of Duties
As a Human Services Supervisor 2 you will:
Provide leadership and support for diversified eligibility staff by supervising, hiring, engaging, empowering, aiding in professional development, coaching, supporting, promoting, monitoring performance and providing direction.
Manage staff performance by establishing directions, goals and priorities for assigned team members in collaboration with OEP Central Operations, OEP Workflow Coordination and OEP leadership.
Monitor and analyze local office effectiveness in policy implementation and application. Analyze, evaluate, and monitor operational effectiveness through reports gathered by reviews, routine monitoring and quality control data.
Perform administrative functions to carry out objectives and goals of the department and implement the department's vision, leveraging local community resources and department staff and programs.
Anticipate agency needs and direction. Articulate that vision with staff and the community to provide an environment for effective change to occur. Facilitate changes in services, programs, community partnerships and use of department resources.

Ensure staff have a clear understanding of these goals and values; hold self and staff accountable for instilling these values into everyday actions and behaviors.
Minimum Qualifications
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position.
Four Years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR
One year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Working Conditions
Your typical work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on site and in-person at the Seaside ODHS office. Your hours of work may fluctuate based on operation and service needs; this includes evening and weekend work as well as being on-call.
General office conditions include high stress environment due to a high-volume workload with short time frames.
Priorities and procedures may change daily and requires the ability to be flexible in application of procedures.
Serve a diverse range of customers with compassion and professionalism through a trauma informed lens.
Requires a valid driver's license or other acceptable method of transportation for routine travel. Most travel will be local but may include travel across the state. May involve occasional overnight stay away from local area.
