Electronics Maintenance Officer

Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Full time

Job Purpose:

You will maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems that keep our site running safely and reliably. You will work closely with engineers, production teams and contractors to prevent downtime and improve operations. Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic troubleshooting, repairs and preventive work to keep machines running, minimize breakdowns
  • Achieve target OEE of lines, ensure machine safety meet requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and execute PM schedules/checklists in CMMS; log and manage all facility breakdowns, work orders and completion records through CMMS.
  • Prepare and implement calibration schedules for instruments and ensure completion on/before due date, maintain records and certificates.
  • Coordinate and support computerized system validation (CSV) and other validation activities, and ensure timely completion
  • Ensure site EHS and Quality requirements are met; participate in Level‑1 Quality and EHS audits, close actions on time.
  • Communicate required spare parts and inventory levels to Engineering Stores to support maintenance readiness.
  • Identify, propose, and implement cost‑saving and operational‑excellence projects; deliver special assignments as required.
  • Rotational shifts, off site remote engineering support for floor staff.


Education, Experience and Skill

  • Bachelors or Masters in Electronic is required for this role.
  • 3 – 5 years hands-on experience in electronics maintenance in a pharma environment,
  • Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs Servo Drives, Communication systems, Controllers, Programming.
  • Good understanding of electrical safety practices, Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, CMMS, SAP
  • Experience with project supervision & completion, technical BOQ
  • Experience supervising contractors/vendors and coordinating cross function teams.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and spare part management.
  • Present / Demonstrate success and learning within team and on forums
