Job Summary: You will serve as a Supervisory Electronics Engineer in the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest, Support Equipment EST of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Electronics Engineer. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Providing engineering support for Test Program Set (TPS) acquisition and/or sustainment, in-service engineering, design and development, and life-cycle support of TPS and associated software for complex aviation systems and subsystems; (2) Utilizing technical knowledge of Test Program Sets (TPS) utilized on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), to provide In-Service Engineering (ISE) sustainment for the development, diagnosis, repair, fault isolation of advanced avionics, and design and development of acquisition TPSs; (3) Performing work related to project management, muti-tasking, and collaborative teamwork and resolutions; (4) Serving as a technical lead, effectively communicating complex engineering problems and solutions to leadership and peers; and (5) Presenting decisive briefings and collaborating solutions with coworkers, stakeholders, and industry partners, and showing ability to mentor, develop engineers, and innovations for continuing process improvements.
