Amentum is seeking expertise to perform engineering tasks related to Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) evolutions on naval ship architectures and systems.
Responsibilities include:
Minimum Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering with an RF focus or Physics with an emphasis in electromagnetic interference (EMI), electric field propagation, and/or electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Five (5) years demonstrated experience in theoretical and practical aspects of research, development, test, engineering, or integration of Navy RF sensors and systems and with one or more of the following topside areas: Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3); Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing; EMI problem investigation; EMI / EMC analysis and assessment; EMI Control and Mitigation; MATLAB programming; proficiency in use of RF equipment (spectrum analyzer, real-time spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, etc.)
Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
