Salary Range: $42.21-$45.16 per hour – plus differential on certain shifts

As our next Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of building, integrating, and supporting advanced automation solutions. Your expertise in industrial electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting will be critical in delivering high-quality automated equipment and ensuring seamless system performance both on-site and at customer locations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assemble electrical circuits, including control panels and field wiring, per design specifications
  • Support the build, integration, and installation of custom automation equipment
  • Perform on-site installation and commissioning of automated systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic circuits
  • Work closely with controls technicians on PLCs, robotics, and vision systems
  • Provide on-site support for new and existing automation systems
  • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings addressing quality, operations, and safety topics
  • Assist in training and development of team members
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A or 309A) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in Canada
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, components, and wiring standards
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial control panels
  • Familiarity with industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, IO-Link, AS-i)
  • Understanding of safety circuits and networked safety systems
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and ability to work independently and in teams

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with electrical design
  • Exposure to robotics and vision systems
  • Experience in custom automation or machine build environments
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
