Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities:

As an electrical engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Design elevator electrical components such as HID(HBP/COP)/TOCI box/System Cable etc.
  • Leading schedule B projects to make products more cost competitive.
  • Sustain electrical system and related components, provide technical support to frontline/factory.
  • Develop new products’ concept with pros/cons analysis, demonstrate design with MASC (modeling/analysis/simulation/calculation)
  • Develop and execute the test plan, Including reliability and function testing.
  • Document engineering works according to Otis product development process (e.g.: requirement, drawings, test reports, basic data etc.)
  • Coordinate with other function to ensure program success
  • Perform other duties as assigned and requested

  • Efficient performance of the tasks with sense of ownership
  • Complete the job on target with respect to quality, cost and delivery
  • Support others to achieve team objectives
  • Self-motivated for continuous improvement of product and personal skills to adapt external environment change.

Work experience & skills requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of electrical design experience with Bachelor’s degree
    • Electrical design, Component selection, qualification
    • Working experience in elevator company is preferred

  • Language
    • CET-4 and above.
    • Good Written and Oral English is preferred 

  • Computer Skills:
    • Microsoft office tool set
    • E3 tool for wiring diagram

  • Other Key Competencies:
    • Sense of ownership and responsibility, result oriented
    • Creative, open-minded, smart and energetic
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Logical thinking and pro-active

Educational Requirements       

  • Education: Bachelor or above in Electrical Engineering or similar area
