Responsibilities:
- The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, other hardware systems, or electrical engineering applications.
- Duties may include analyzing equipment to establish operating data, conducting experimental tests and evaluating results as well as selecting components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
- Research, design, develop, modify and evaluate electronics parts, components and integrated circuitry for electronic equipment
- Use engineering or design software to create diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
- Support systems engineering by preparing presentations, conducting/supporting trade studies, and evaluating systems electrical and RF components.
- Develop models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.
- Provide technical inputs related to the implementation of system architecture by other staff.
- Support electrical system analyses at all levels for total system product integration to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Project coordination and Document Control, to include responsibility for generation and review of technical documentation.
- Closely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure technical rigor and that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.
- Engage with highly technical customers to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute technical expertise to documentation, reports, and deliverables.
- Contribute to project financial management, reporting, and lifecycle oversight from initiation through closeout.
- Plan and coordinate project activities, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
- Review or prepare project status reports and other documentation.
- Support the acquisition of materials, services, and supplies, maintaining accurate records and justifications.
- Monitor project team performance, including vendors, to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support the technical and financial performance of assigned projects, ensuring funding continuity and on-time delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
- US Citizenship is required to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline from an ABET accredited university.
- Ability to support management of project schedules and project integrations within site processes.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work and communicate at multiple levels from senior leadership to installation teams.
- Experience with tracking project deliverables, milestones, and schedules for systems or software delivery programs.
- Experience with requirements generation, traceability, review and tracking.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$57,000 - $116,700
