Your role

As an Electrical Engineer you'll guide purposeful work that supports the future of the Qld Industrial Business. Collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team, you’ll explore integrated solutions, offer thoughtful perspectives, and partner with clients to help them build a more sustainable world.

What you’ll be doing

This role is based in Gladstone, participating in the delivery of key projects with several of our local and national clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical design and power system modelling.
  • Detailed design of project packages.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the electrical discipline including high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation, control systems, communication systems, hazardous areas and functional safety.
  • Work with colleagues from other disciplines to deliver complete multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Monitor progress, expenditure, and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support best-practice standards.

What you’ll bring

You blend technical knowledge with empathy and big-picture thinking. You're someone who thrives in dynamic environments, builds meaningful connections, and is motivated by purposeful work.

  • Willingness to develop technical skills in many areas of the electrical discipline including high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation and control systems.
  • Good experience in electrical design with the proven ability to apply this technical knowledge to achieve project outcomes;
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing design to align with client policies, standards, and specifications.
