The candidate supports design, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatical assemblies. Combines handson technical execution with structured electrical design support, collaborating with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and quality teams within established engineering processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Electrical & Electromechanical Technical Activities 

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering functions to support assembly, test, failure analysis, troubleshooting, corrective actions identifications and occasionally rework of subgroups and modules of moderately complex design. 

  • Support prototype builds, experimental circuitry, specialized test equipment, and NPI activities 

  • Support new installations, upgrades, and improvements  

Design & Product specification and Documentation  

  • Execute design and modification of electrical and pneumatical assemblies 

  • Prepare electrical and pneumatical schematics, layouts, drawings, and design updates  

  • Implement moderately complex design changes and solutions for product issues under engineering guidance 

  • Verify and check designs for dimensional accuracy, specification compliance, and technical correctness 

  • Perform design layout checks and support design reviews 

  • Contribute to electrical product specifications 

  • Assist in the creation, review, and update of engineering documentation, including:  

  • Schematics and drawings 

  • Test procedures and reports 

  • Design specifications and release technical documentation 

  • Generate and maintain engineering test results reports and support documentation for product releases 

  • Generate and maintain safety related documentation with the help of engineering and subject matter experts both internal and external (consultants) 

 

CrossFunctional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software and system engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers 

  • Coordinate electrical design and changes across functions to ensure manufacturability and compliance 

  • Communicate technical information clearly, from straightforward topics to more complex technical discussions 

 

Technical Competencies 

  • Electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems knowledge 

  • Ability to design and modify electrical assemblies within defined requirements 

  • Interpretation of electrical schematics, layouts, drawings, and specifications 

  • Handson troubleshooting and testing using electrical test equipment 

  • CAD / ECAD tools for electrical design and layout support 

  • Engineering documentation discipline and configuration awareness 

 

Autonomy & Problem Solving 

  • Works with limited supervision within established engineering frameworks 

  • Solves nonroutine technical problems using existing procedures and best practices 

  • Adapts to changing priorities and technical challenges in a dynamic environment 

  • Technical Diploma with experience in the role or Associate’s Degree 

  • Typically 4–7 years of relevant electrical / electromechanical experience
