POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for planning all Environment, Health and Safety, ESG activities for WWN Plant, including but not limited to EHS and ESG system establishment, related policy or guideline build-up, and driving the implementation of environmental, health, safety and ESG activities throughout the Company. To continuously improve EHS performance to be consistent with corporate goals and ensure environmental, health & safety standards are met in all areas of the organization.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Establish and maintain EHS management system, regulations, procedures and emergency response plan. Set up EHS and ESG goals and develop work plan for WWN in consistent with corporate EHS and ESG goals and implement it throughout the team Conduct risk assessment and job safety analysis, track follow up risk control and mitigation actions. Develop and manage EHS and ESG training plan for the plant, deliver related training to all level employees in workplace. Work with each department to implement EHS program effectively and carry out EHS improvement projects to prevent workplace accidents and occupational disease. Initiate and conduct EHS layered audit and follow up the issues identified. Propose suggestions, guide and monitor each department to take actions to eliminate and control the risks in safety, health and environment. Organize the monthly EHS committee meeting, action plan identification and track these actions in a timely completion manner. Carry out annual emergency drills to enhance employees' emergency response skills. Investigate EHS accidents/ issues with the team, identify root causes and appropriate corrective action. Promote timely completion of corrective actions. Lead the system management and internal / external audit of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 14064. Implement the EHS & ESG requirements to ensure all actions are satisfied. Establish EHS performance appraisal system and track the performance of each department. Enhance safety incentive and accountability systems. Facilitate EHS culture building with the support from top management. Continuously improve safety awareness through training, communication, and safety observation. Stay updated on local, national, and international EHS regulations and ESG standards relevant to the industry.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Mechanical is preferred. At least 8 years of EHS work experience in global manufacturing companies. More than 2 years of team management experience. ESG or Sustainability work experience would be preferred. Familiar with China EHS laws and regulations. More than 3 years’ work experience in EHS systems development and maintain (ISO 14000 and ISO 45001). Familiar with ISO 50001, ISO 14064 would be preferred. Professional certification is required (Certified Safety Engineer, Certified Fire Engineer, Certified Environmental Protection Engineer etc.) Good communication and influencing skills, excellent in analytical thinking and problem-solving. Open-minded and diligent working attitude. Able to use English as a working language both in writing and speaking. Self-motivator and fast learner.
