Job Description:
A new position as EF Halcon Production Equipment Management has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid).
The EF Halcon Production Equipment Management will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering equipment on time, cost & quality for the production activities to the Final Assembly Line of the HALCON Eurofighter programme.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning of deliveries:
Follow-up and coordination with Procurement EDRs/EPCs of planned deliveries, ensuring equipment’s availability at Production according to the schedule.
Loan Equipment process coordination.
Management of EF Systems PANAVIA (EMS/PDT/SMIS) and corporative internal systems (SAP, CMS)
Participation in Eurofighter / EPCs telecons/meetings.
Agility to identify risks and define corrective actions.
Management of Equipment Repairs&Upgrade and Alerts/Recalls/Directives
Management of new equipment repairs, recalls and upgrades with EDRs/EPCs and keeping updated in EF system.
Handling repairs authorization and liabilities in equipment repair.
Leading logistic inverse flow of equipment for Repairs or Upgrades iaw Export Control criteria
Management of Equipment in the shopfloor/Support to Production:
Based on daily work orders to be achieved: Dispatch of Equipment ensuring the availability at point of use according to planning. Coordination with Logistics Service Provider.
Ensure the alignment between the IT system and reality.
Handle the stocks and managing and coordination with the required department:
Lead and control of status of equipment loans and replacements
Support Equipment blockages at reception area. Follow-up of internal/external logistics incidents of Equipment delivery.
KPI: Missing Parts/Equipment report
Participate in process improvement projects and new ways of working for Combat Production Support area.
All these activities are in line with the Airbus Leadership Model and will contribute to increase Airbus profitability
SKILLS
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline
At least 3 years of experience in Planning and Production Control or similar positions
Ability to work in high demanding and international environment. Priorities set-up
Networking enabler. Good communication skills and proactive mindset in a multi-functional team-working.
High level of English is a must
Familiar with SAP
