The Education Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating educational programs to support staff development, certification, and continuing education initiatives. Key duties include developing and scheduling classes to ensure compliance with certification requirements, providing administrative support to Educators, and managing the creation and distribution of educational materials. The Education Coordinator may collaborate with accredited educational institutions to facilitate student placements within the organization, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Additionally, this role ensures that training opportunities meet organizational objectives and enhance staff competency and professional growth.
HS Diploma or equivalent (Required)
Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
**Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician or a Certified Medical Assistant to qualify for this position**
Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required) and CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB) (Required)
Two years of relevant experience (Required)
