Primary Purpose:
- This is a general-purpose Dinners position that will be required to learn and demonstrate understanding for filling/packing positions in Dinners. These positions will rotate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains Kraft quality standards by using QCMS guidelines to check quality of seals, code dates, labels, packaging of Product and paperwork. Must maintain processing equipment by using the quality system and settings.
- Assists in stacking off when palletizer is down.
- Ensures that housekeeping is maintained in the work area.
- Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions.
- Performs variety of maintenance-type functions such as change-over’s, set-ups, preventative maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.
- Dismantles, cleans and reassembles assigned equipment according to Kraft Standards and supervisor’s directions.
- Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in MES/AI applications. Must have a solid understanding of Hertzler/Quality Suite weight control and OEE.
- Will be required to be involved in improvement opportunities and be an active member of the line and department teams.
- Completes other duties as advised by Team Leader/Line Technician.
- Must be able to work on regular scheduled days off to provide vacation relief, illness, and other unexpected absences. Relieves other personnel as needed.
- Own your process and work as a team to meet your goals and the plant goals!
- Operates forklift or walkie to retrieve, scan and supply each function of the Dinners Lines. All scans will be validated at the end of the shift.
- Assist with preparation of setting up all lines in Dinners department and help troubleshoot all areas of the line.
- Perform metal detector checks as advised and document accordingly.
- Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
- Understand and accountable for the KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, involvement in process improvements, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge: Basic math, reading and communication.
- Working Environment: Primarily indoors in ambient temperatures. Subject to dusty conditions; temperature can vary up to 85 degrees during warm weather months.
- During sanitation can be exposed to wet conditions.
- Will be required to work from vertilifts, ladders, and platforming.
Qualifications:
- Able to acquire Fork Truck, walkie/rider pallet truck operator and vertilift/aerial lift certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead
- Lifts, carries, pushes, routinely pulls and moves up to 60 pounds
- Holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity vital to operate equipment; and disassemble and reassemble equipment
- Be capable of standing while performing the essential functions of the job.
- Be able to do sustained activity jobs.
