As our E-Commerce Intelligence Lead, you will be the architect of our digital engine room. Your mission is to pinpoint the commercial moments that matter, from conversion and traffic to pricing and customer journeys and harness dormant data to drive exponential growth.
This isn’t a role for incremental tweaks; it’s about challenging assumptions and using AI and automation to rewire our ways of working for pace and efficiency. By turning analytics into a force multiplier, you will empower our team to work smarter and faster, ensuring we don’t just stay ahead of the AI curve, but define it.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Partner with Digital Leaders across Trading, CRM, and Performance to identify growth drivers and unlock untapped data opportunities
Map the full end-to-end customer journey, stitching together disconnected data sets to identify and fix friction points and leaky funnels
Pinpoint where AI and automation can drive commercial growth, operational efficiency, or a superior customer experience
Rapidly prototype, test, and implement tools and scripts—such as advanced price-scrapers and sentiment analysis bots—to solve real-world business problems
Build and launch a Command Centre dashboard with real-time trading data and automated alerts to prompt immediate team action
Bridge the gap between technical and commercial teams by demystifying AI and inspiring a test and learn culture
Audit and automate manual workflows, specifically targeting DTC stock management and paid search tasks to significantly reduce manual effort
Deploy optimisation experiments, including personalised landing content and automated offer testing, and share actionable insights
Surface CRM and loyalty insights to highlight potential for customer retention and lifecycle improvements
Embed new tools into day-to-day team processes and drive active adoption through workshops and mentoring
Track and communicate the tangible value delivered, focusing on revenue lift, time saved, and KPI improvements
Create a Global Playbook to summarise successful solutions and provide a roadmap for scaling across other markets and categories
Deliver comprehensive documentation to ensure all created tools are sustainably managed and owned by the business
You are a commercially minded professional who stays relentlessly focused on the drivers of tangible results. A collaborative partner by nature, you work seamlessly across technical, commercial, and marketing teams to bridge gaps and drive collective success. You prioritise practical application over innovation theatre, ensuring every solution is built for real-world usage and high adoption. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and maintain a strong bias for action, thriving in an autonomous environment where you can proactively hunt for opportunities and deliver solutions without requiring constant guidance.
Previous skills & experience:-
Experience with E-Commerce trading levers - conversion, traffic, pricing, merchandising, CRM, and customer experience
Track record of driving measurable outcomes through automation, analytics, or AI - ideally where speed and experimentation matter
Hands-on with automation and analytics tech. But you measure success in outcomes, not algorithms
