Job Profile: DSD Coordinator
Department: Supplier Relations
FLSA: Non-Exempt
General Function
As DSD Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting with article (item) creation requests from our retail stores. You will be responsible for upholding data governance policies, food safety standards, and procedures to ensure accurate and consistent data across the company. This role communicates daily with our store’s DSD vendors receiving the most up-to-date information regarding cost changes, allowances, and item master data changes.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creation and modification of articles (items) information requested and through the store requests in Supplier Hub.
Works with retail store personnel to validate requests coming through Supplier Hub.
Assists new DSD vendors for their onboarding process in Ariba.
Enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
Activates DSD items to appropriate stores.
Works closely with the Retail and Supplier Data Services team to maintain data accuracy.
Support business users with data integrity issues and questions
Understand and translate technical concepts to business-friendly language.
Maintains open communication with suppliers and brokers.
Locates suppliers for items that stores request.
Investigate and resolve data-related issues reported by end-users or identified through data quality assessments.
Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Education and Experience
High School or equivalent with secondary education or 4-year degree preferred; a minimum of 2-3 years of Hy-Vee retail experience.
Physical Requirements
Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near and far range with or without correction, normal depth perceptions.
Must be physically able to perform light work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions
The duties of this position are performed in a general office setting. There is constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a day.
