What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate drilling equipment safely and efficiently for underground aggregate production.
- Monitor drilling conditions and make adjustments to optimize performance.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure reliability.
- Follow all site safety protocols, hazard controls, and operational procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with team members to meet production goals.
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy or specialized equipment.
- Strong awareness of underground safety practices and hazard recognition.
- Capability to follow technical procedures and adapt to changing conditions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Capacity to perform physically active tasks in demanding environments.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate
