Stay in for the quiet nights with 24-hour room service, savour locally sourced ingredients prepared by classically trained chefs, slip into bliss with handcrafted cocktails at EDGE Restaurant & Bar or unwind at our spa with a selection of rejuvenating treatments.

BASIC PURPOSE: Creates a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant and banquet guests. Arranges for cars to be parked or retrieved. Arranges transportation for guest. Assures that guests’ departures and arrivals are swift and complete.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Greets guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel. Assists guests descending from cars. Issues appropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want car parked. Gives verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot. Opens hotel doors for all guests.

2. Unloads guest luggage from car, tags it and issues claim tickets to the guest. Provides guests with parking instructions and price. Assess any damage to vehicle at arrival and designates such on claim ticket. Directs hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in. Transfers luggage to the Bell Staff.

3. Assures the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to the appropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars. Designates hold cars if need be, and assures proper ticketing to differentiate such vehicles. (Either for 15 min loading parking, or hold car as comp service)

4. Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed. Acts as a liaison for House Car availability as well as additional Bell/ Valet services. Loads luggage in car for departing guests.

5. Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints including but not limited to any car damages or parking concerns, luggage services, or house car related issues, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.

6. Greets all guests and residents passing through Front Door and offers them assistance.

7. Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.

8. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides a high level of cleanliness on the driveway, in the garage, and hotel entrance.

2. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Bell & Valet Parking Staff.
