Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase store traffic and optimize profitability
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Manage and oversee store operations and personnel, ensuring all locations meet company standards
- Address customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable
- Monitor and report on store performance metrics
- Identify hiring needs, select and train new salespeople
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain knowledge of all company products and services.
- Regularly visit stores in their district to ensure store standards are maintained.
- Communicate with senior management about store issues and resolutions.
- Coordinate with other district managers to share best practices and challenges
Qualifications
- BS degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a District Manager, Regional Manager or similar managerial role in retail for at least 4 years
- Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles
- Understanding of store operations and financial analysis
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Team management skills including ability to inspire, lead, manage and mentor a team
- Strong customer service skills
