Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Distributor and Commercial Channels. This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives that enhance our distribution network and market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of operational management skills, strategic planning expertise, and a deep understanding of market dynamics to optimize our distributor relationships and market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
(i) Distributor Management:
· Oversee and enhance the performance of the distribution network, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
· Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase service levels.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for distributor performance and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with business goals.
(ii) Commercial Channel Management:
· Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the market landscape.
· Develop and execute comprehensive market strategies that drive growth and enhance market share.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product, pricing, and promotional strategies with market needs.
· Lead the planning and execution of market entry strategies for new products or services.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
· Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive execution of market strategies.
· Engage with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence and distributor performance.
Job Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Sales. Experienced in distributor operations and managing commercial channels, preferably in FMCG industry.
· Proven track record of successfully managing distributor relationships and executing commercial strategies.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
