Depending on his/her scope, the incumbent will be in charge of one the domain :
 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze / define functional safety requirements within the project based on Customer Requirements

  • Support integration of the safety activities in the development project

  • Contribute as necessary (planned) to hazard and risk analyses, safety plan, functional and technical safety concept

  • Specify safety requirements and safety concepts for system / component

  • Customer interface and coordinate for Safety topics

  • Support the definition/specification of safety requirements for hardware and software architectures

  • Demonstrate how the chosen technical concept will comply with functional safety requirements

  • Contribute in the product development process, by creating the appropriate work products that meet the requirements of the relevant functional safety standards.

  • Support customer FuSA audit with PFSM and other FuSA resources

  • participate safety analysis processes (e.g. FMEAs, FTAs, FMEDAs, etc.)

  • Support customer review meetings

  • Support Open topic management

  • Cooperate with the PFSM and other FuSa resources in other sites or external contractors

  • Report functionally to Project Functional Safety Manager (PFSM) and its PL FuSa Metier Manager.

Skills:

  • Knowledge for ISO26262 and ISO21443

  • Knowledge for Functional Safety process and methodology

  • eFMEA performance experience

  • Safety concept creation experience

  • Functional Safety Testing experience

  • Functional Safety Test case creation

  • Safety mechanism review as System engineer

  • Safety mechanism development as SW engineer

  • TSC/TSR creation experience

  • HW design experience according to ISO2626 part 5

  • Safety manual creation

  • FMEDA performance

  • System architecture creation for Functional safety

  • HW architecture creation for Functional safety

  • SW architecture creation for Functional safety

  • SW development experience according to ISO26262 part 6

  • System engineering

  • System requirement creation

  • 5~8 years experience in HW or SW or System

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Automotive Engineering or Electronics or Computer science

Languages:

  • Korean & English
