We are looking for two dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our Accommodation and Respite service at our Terrey Hills group home.
This is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity, offering 20 hours per week,
with a variety of shifts, including morning, day, evening, and awake night shifts. Ideal for individuals who are committed to making a genuine difference in the lives of others.
In this rewarding role, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support, empowering our clients to live as independently as possible while advocating for their individual needs, choices, and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients to develop and maintain independence, dignity, and confidence
Deliver individualised care, including assistance with:
Mealtimes
Personal care (toileting, showering)
Medication administration
Manual handling using a range of equipment and aids
Monitor client wellbeing, documenting and reporting on progress and any changes
Work collaboratively as part of a fun, supportive, and dynamic team
Requirements:
We are open to both green and experienced candidates. Whether you have been in the sector for a while or are new to it, you will need to be committed, compassionate, eager to learn, and demonstrate person-centered care - treating all clients with respect, dignity, and professionalism.
A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
