The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:

The Director, Talent Management will oversee the development, implementation, and alignment of talent management processes for corporate Human Resources & Enterprise Services, and RTX wide initiatives. The leader will be accountable for enterprise-wide vender relationships and will also provide oversight for the implementation of critical talent HR strategies and operational plans for talent management trends. The leader will serve as a senior lead as a Human Resources Partner supporting the corporate human resource function. They will partner with top HR executive leaders to formulate human resources strategies and develop long-term strategies to meet the functions future workforce and HR program needs. Oversee highly complex HR initiatives, and acts as expert on complex HR questions, and ensures program compliance with laws and regulations.

What Will You

  • Accountable for setting long-term operational strategies, development, and implementation of talent management strategies. They will also develop long-term strategies to meet the current and future workforce needs of the Corp/ES function and implement changes to existing human resources policies based on the functions overall human resource strategy.
  • Develop and implement enterprise programs, processes, and tools to strengthen performance and accelerate readiness of talent for the HR function.
  • Managing a high level of complexity and span wide range of difficult and unique issues across the function.
  • Ensure full compliance of HR plans and programs with related to employment laws, rules, and regulations specific to multiple countries.
  • Provide solutions that are novel and unique, and achieved through research and integration of industry best practices.
  • The HR leader will often consult with senior executive leadership on matters of strategic impact.
  • Implement critical HR functional strategies, and plans for talent management trends, implements plans to address problems and improve processes and practices.
  • The role will require a high degree of influencing as they will regularly interact with the most senior HR leaders.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A University degree with a minimum 14-year experience or an Advanced degree with a minimum of 12 years.
  • Widely recognized as a leading expert for achievements within the professional field.
  • Strong persuasive skills and effective communicator who can build consensus to achieve goals.
  • Previous exercising HR policies and procedures, including the connections between talent development, performance management, and total rewards.
  • Previous experience in analytics with the ability to aggregate and utilize data to influence decisions.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior experience managing and enabling distributed or dotted-line facilitation networks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Prior experience in large manufacturing and/or matrixed global organization.
  • Experience applying change management models and leading varying level of transformation/change involving multiple stakeholder groups at an enterprise level.
  • Capable of successfully designing, deploying, and managing large-scale talent management initiatives.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating agility and flexibility. Comfortable in ambiguity and managing decision risk.

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
