What is the Opportunity?

The Director, Talent Enablement & Delivery for Capital Markets (CM) plays a central role in driving cross-platform talent processes and strategies in support of the HR Business Partners. With a strong focus on providing actionable data-backed insight, building partnerships across COEs and the HR CM team and project managing specific initiatives, the incumbent will also act as a primary contributor to the talent strategy development and strategic planning process, while supporting team routines to ensure effective ways of working across the team.

What will you do?

  • Acts as a partner in articulating the Capital Markets talent strategy and work with COEs to design sub-component of the overall strategy; plays a critical role in leading the needs analysis.
  • Drives platform outcomes by acting as a strategic integration point and driving prioritization between the platform team and the HR ecosystem
  • Partners with other Talent Partners to identify & address talent challenges for the Capital Markets platform that are not addressed through existing programs/offerings in HR and leads solution brokering
  • Build decks, artefacts and other materials for senior leaders and executive audiences
  • Influences colleagues and senior stakeholders' decisions utilizing their HR, platform knowledge and expertise
  • Enables HR Business Partners to conduct business-as-usual talent processes (e.g., engagement, talent management, year-end performance and compensation etc.)
  • Supports platform routines, prioritization and annual planning
  • Advances Talent Enablement & Delivery practices for Capital Markets leveraging data
  • Actively participates in Talent Enablement & Delivery community of practice and sharing

What do you need to succeed?

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in HR or Capital Markets, in a relevant role
  • Superior partnership and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset, balanced with an ability to think broadly across HR domains
  • Keen ability to derive insights and strategies from people data
  • Good balance between being innovative and practical
  • Global exposure or experience is an asset
  • Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred or equivalent
  • CHRL or equivalent designation is an asset

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $160,000 - $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
