Job Description:

Partners with supply chain management leadership to develop the growth strategy and overall strategic plan for supply chain. Implements and leads department through the change management process and on-going management of the strategy. Forms strategic relationships with all levels including senior leadership teams throughout the organization.

Overall responsibility for supply chain tasks that support inventory management, warehouse management, picking, staging and distribution of materials, procurement of materials, addressing conversions, management of discontinued items, recalled items, receiving & shipping, mail, technology that supports materials and the supply replenishment process, Hospital Incident Command System HICS Logistics Chief for hospital/representation on tiered huddles and command centers, tasks associated with the source to settle process, tasks associated with the maintenance of supply chain master data, and overall leadership of the staff.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence and Process Improvement
    • Improves operations effectiveness throughout site(s) by developing metrics and service line agreements where appropriate to measure improvement.
    • Utilizes existing and develops new reports to monitor the effectiveness of operational tasks and responsibilities.
    • Develops, implements and maintains effective standard operating procedures, materials management, and supply technologies to support the supply replenishment and end-to-end supply chain management process.
  • Strategic Planning and Collaboration
    • Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement solutions.
    • Works with the appropriate site and supply chain leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that will reduce costs, improve efficiency, improve customer satisfaction and advance the overall supply chain strategy.
  • Workforce Leadership and Development
    • Provides leadership and management of work force, maintaining a high level of employee engagement.
    • Develops staff and succession planning.
  • Project and Program Management
    • Performs project and program management as assigned, including training where necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
  • 7+ years inventory, materials or procurement experience
  • 7+ years enterprise resources planning software experience
  • 5+ years management and leadership experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
  • 5+ years cross functional team leadership including contract staff


Licenses/Certifications

  • ISM, APICS, AHRMM Supply Chain industry certification within 12 months preferred

  • Lifting weight up to 20 lbs. occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $63.54 to $87.91 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
