Director, Strategy & Execution – Hybrid Cloud & Intelligent Operations

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a dynamic Director, Strategy & Execution to support our Hybrid Cloud & Intelligent Operations Program. This leader will drive strategy, planning, execution, reporting and business operations across a multi-year Cloud & AI transformation.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS, OpenShift), AI-enabled operations, organizational planning, and cross-functional leadership. This role is critical to ensuring that our cloud and AI initiatives deliver business value, operate efficiently, and are clearly communicated across the enterprise.

What You Will Do?

Strategy & Planning

• Lead strategic planning for Hybrid Cloud & Intelligent Operations, integrating infrastructure modernization and AI capabilities.
• Translate strategy into clear program roadmaps, priorities, KPIs, and execution plans.
• Conduct market and internal assessments to support cloud and AI investment decisions.
• Support leadership decision-making with data-driven insights, scenario planning, and structured business cases.

Program Execution & Performance

• Track progress against KPIs, milestones, and financial targets; proactively identify risks.
• Partner with engineering, product, architecture, SRE, Finops, and risk teams to remove roadblocks.

Reporting & Insights

• Own executive-level reporting and scorecards for cloud and AI performance, financials, adoption, and operational health.
• Develop data-driven insights and dashboards to support leadership decisions.
• Prepare content for senior executive forums, steering committees, and quarterly reviews.

Communications & Marketing

• Lead HYCIO communications including newsletters, program updates, Town Halls, and success stories.
• Shape the program’s brand narrative
• Build high-quality presentations, collateral, and messaging for executives and enterprise partners.

Business Operations & People Support

• Manage operational rhythms: leadership meetings, planning cycles, governance forums, and operational reviews.
• Partner with HR on workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and team engagement.
• Lead planning for program-wide events: offsites, training days, roadshows and Program showcases.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen operational efficiency and cross-team collaboration.

What You Need to Succeed

Must Have

• 10+ years in technology strategy, cloud strategy, business operations, or enterprise transformation roles.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, private cloud) and AI/ML concepts (GenAI,  AIOps, automation).
• Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technology programs.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build structure, drive alignment, and influence at senior levels.

Nice to Have

• Experience in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or AI/ML operations.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cloud governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
