The Service Partnership Group focuses on furthering Samsung's strategic aims and maximize revenue through strong partnerships that bring user experiences to life across our suite of Mobile and TV devices. Join our team as a Business Operations and Systems Intern, where you'll contribute to the creation of cutting-edge partnership data tools and systems. Your role will involve evaluating our existing data tracking capabilities, including platforms like Salesforce and Airtable, to uncover areas for improvement and innovation. By collaborating with our Senior PMO and Business Operations team, you'll assist in data migrations, ensure data accuracy, and help streamline processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with enterprise-level data platforms and influence how our teams interact with and rely on data. In the end, your contributions will ensure intuitive, clean partner account data pipelines & interfaces for leadership while instituting governance and hygiene standards for the department.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the development of new partnership data tools, systems, and tracking enhancements
  • Learn and assess current partnership data tracking and capabilities on the Samsung Services Business Team (including platforms such as Salesforce and Airtable and other internal tools), identify gaps and opportunities, and help articulate how these capabilities can better support the organization
  • Provide support to our Senior PMO and Business Operations team for data migrations, hygiene, and overall process improvements
  • This role offers exposure to enterprise-scale data platforms and the opportunity to influence how teams enter, understand, and trust data.

Experience Requirements:

  • Students currently pursuing an MBA or M.S. in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Advanced Airtable User/Builder
  • Has overseen or been directly involved with a data platform/system migration at a tech company
  • Experienced in handling large amounts of data & combining information from different sources
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills and Qualifications

Preferred Experience Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge about the content streaming industry and components of a streaming media/entertainment contract
