Summary:

The Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) Quality Programs Director leads enterprise-wide clinical quality performance across Memorial Health Network (MHN), Broward Guardian ACO, and other federal and commercial shared-risk programs. This role sets the strategy and drives execution of quality performance initiatives under dual-sided risk contracts, improving outcomes across employed and community physicians within Broward Health and Memorial Healthcare System.

Responsibilities:

Co-leads the development and implementation of state-of-the-art clinical and operational tools that promote best practices, including evidence-based practice guidelines and standardized clinical policies.Designs, implements, and improves an enterprise-wide quality performance and patient safety program.Leads and drives the quality committee, including development, governance, and execution of quality improvement initiatives across the network.Provides leadership, strategic recommendations, and program management for population health and ambulatory focused clinical quality improvement initiatives to achieve MHN and Broward Guardian ACO population health clinical quality and pharmacy goals.Provides oversight for the design, delivery, and evaluation of education and training related to population health and ambulatory care quality improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices.Builds, and leads teams and programs for risk coding optimization, EHR documentation improvement, Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs), enterprise quality education, and performance tracking, reporting, and corrective action processes.Designs and delivers targeted education and training to enable leaders, providers, and operational teams to effectively interpret and apply quality data to drive sustained performance improvement.Co-leads the selection and implementation of a data integration, aggregation, and quality reporting platform to support initiatives across MHN, Broward Guardian ACO, and employed physician groups.Provides leadership and full accountability for clinical quality performance supporting over 2,500 providers in dual-risk and value-based agreements.

Masters (Required)Pharmacist License (PS LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL), Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate, Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

Required Work Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years combined experience in either direct patient care or quality management with at least 5 years of leadership experience. A minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in a Medicare Accountable Care Organization and/or Clinically Integrated Network setting. At least three (3) years’ experience in Hierarchical Coding Categories coding and documentation. Other Information: Additional Education Info: Healthcare Related Field.
