The Director of Professional Services will be responsible for building and scaling a new department within Optimal Blue responsible for client implementations, migrations, integrations, and tailored solution delivery. This leader will define and operationalize the Professional Services strategy, establish repeatable methodologies, and build a high-performing team that drives client outcomes, profitable growth, and durable adoption across Optimal Blue’s product lines.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in SaaS Professional Services delivery and client onboarding, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to connect strategy with execution. Success in this role will be measured by faster time-to-value, predictable go-lives, strong Professional Services economics, and tighter client feedback loops into Product and Client Success.
Targeted compensation for this position is $150k base with OTE approximately $210k per year.
Responsibilities:
Customized Client Solutions
- Lead and oversee delivery of custom client solutions, including integrations, migrations, and tailored product enhancements.
- Lead intake and delivery of custom client requests, ensuring clear scoping, resource planning, and alignment with product strategy.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to triage requests that require core development.
Implementation Leadership
- Manage teams responsible for end-to-end client implementations and onboarding across multiple product lines.
- Develop scalable, repeatable delivery frameworks and playbooks driving consistency and building on economies of scale.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and exceed client expectations.
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Professional Services Team.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of client-facing consultants, project managers, and technical specialists.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centricity.
- Develop succession plans and foster a performance-driven culture.
- Establish KPIs for delivery performance, utilization, and client satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
- Implement PSA tools and delivery dashboards for visibility into backlog, utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Own departmental P&L, including margin optimization and resource allocation.
Client Engagement
- Serve as the sponsor for key client implementations when needed and as a strategic advisor to clients during onboarding and implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Client Delivery, and Client Success to ensure seamless client transitions, feedback loops, and expansion opportunities.
- Act as a partner in pre-sales scoping and solution design.
- Monitor client satisfaction and drive continuous improvement based on feedback.
- Support expansion and cross-sell opportunities through trusted relationships.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in Professional Services, Implementation or Customer Success Proven success in building and/or scaling a Professional Services function required.
- Experience leading and/or mentoring Professional Service, Implementation and/or Customer success or similar teams.
- Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, enterprise client onboarding, and change management.
- Experience with mortgage lenders or financial technology solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience with tools like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Click Up, Teamwork or similar platforms.

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.
