What you’ll be doing

As part of the Global Asset Management Private Credit team, this role will be centered around the origination, evaluation and execution of new and follow-on investments as well as the monitoring of existing portfolio borrower performance. Investments will be made across the private credit ecosystem, including sponsor buyout financings, asset-based financing, and corporate lending.

How you’ll succeed

  • Leading or supporting underwriting efforts across a mix of corporate lending transactions and ABF credits. Building and managing detailed financial models; analyzing company performance, collateral pools, and capital structures. Conducting in-depth review of due diligence on new investment opportunities. Drafting comprehensive investment committee materials and participate in internal approval processes.

  • Partner with internal legal and external counsel to negotiate and review credit documentation, including term sheets, loan agreements, and intercreditor arrangements. Conducting industry and counterparty diligence; coordinate with third-party advisors and internal portfolio teams.

  • Participate in post-close portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and amendments/restructurings when applicable. Develop meaningful relationships with existing and prospective external partnerships. Managing quarterly and ad-hoc reporting to investors

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • You can demonstrate your experience. 5-7+ years of experience in investment banking, private debt/credit investing, opportunistic credit structured finance, leveraged finance, or asset-based lending. Excellent credit fundamentals, with experience underwriting private credit transactions. Solid understanding of legal documentation and transaction structuring.
