Opswat

Director of Supply Chain

EMEA Full Time

OPSWAT, a global leader in IT, OT, and ICS critical infrastructure cybersecurity, delivers an end-to-end platform that gives public and private sector organizations and enterprises the critical advantage needed to protect their complex networks, secure their devices, and ensure compliance. Over the last 20 years our commitment to innovative technology has earned the trust of more than 1,700 organizations, governments, and institutions globally, solidifying our role in protecting the world’s critical infrastructure and securing our way of life.

The Position

OPSWAT is a global leader in critical infrastructure protection — trusted by governments, defense agencies, and enterprise organizations across the world. We build technology that keeps the world's most sensitive environments secure. Our Veszprém office is a strategic hub for our European and global operations, and this role sits at the center of that growth.

We are building — not inheriting. This is a hands-on Director role for a builder-operator who can architect a world-class supply chain capability from the ground up and run it with precision. You will own the full picture: strategy, QA/QC, warehouse execution, vendor relationships, compliance, and team development. If you thrive in environments where you create the playbook and then execute it, this is your role.

If you’re interested in working as a Director of Supply Chain at OPSWAT, please apply, and we will get in touch!

You Will Have the Opportunity to

  • Build and Scale Supply Chain Capability
    • Architect and implement scalable supply chain processes, systems, and vendor networks to support OPSWAT's hardware growth trajectory across EMEA and globally.
    • Define the operating model — from sourcing through delivery — and build the infrastructure to sustain it.
  • Hands-On QA/QC Leadership
    • Lead quality assurance and control across hardware assembly, imaging, testing, and packaging.
    • Ensure every unit shipped meets OPSWAT's functional, security, and branding standards — no exceptions.
  • Warehouse Execution and Fulfillment
    • Oversee daily warehouse operations: inventory control, ERP data accuracy, and end-to-end fulfillment workflows.
    • Drive operational discipline in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Product Management to align supply chain execution with product specifications and launch timelines.
    • Work alongside Creative and GTM teams to ensure packaging and branding deliver a premium customer experience.
  • Vendor and Logistics Management
    • Build and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners across Europe and internationally.
    • Ensure full compliance with EU and international export regulations and hardware-specific controls
  • Shipping and Customs Management
    • Manage end-to-end shipping operations — domestic and cross-border — ensuring on-time delivery at optimal cost.
    • Navigate customs processes, import/export documentation, and trade compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Partner with freight forwarders and customs brokers to resolve issues proactively and keep shipments moving.
  • Operational Metrics and Continuous Improvement
    • Define and track KPIs across procurement, fulfillment, and QA/QC.
    • Launch continuous improvement initiatives that raise quality standards and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership
    • Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of supply chain and warehouse professionals based in Veszprém.
    • Build a team culture rooted in ownership, precision, and pride in work.

What We are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of supply chain operations experience, ideally in hardware or technology — with a track record of building capabilities, not just running them.
  • Direct experience with global logistics, procurement, and fulfillment operations.
  • Deep familiarity with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, demand planning, and inventory control.
  • Hands-on knowledge of hardware QA/QC — assembly, imaging, testing, and packaging.
  • Strong command of EU export regulations, international trade compliance, and hardware-specific controls.
  • Fluency in English required; Hungarian language skills are an advantage.
  • Comfortable leading through ambiguity in a high-growth, fast-moving environment.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Strategic impact: You will build something that matters — a supply chain capability that directly enables OPSWAT's global hardware mission.
  • Global reach: Work closely with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Ownership culture: At OPSWAT, we trust our people to lead. You will have the autonomy to build, decide, and execute.
