POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking a Director of Operations to support the Men’s Soccer program under the general supervision of the Head Coach. The successful candidate will serve as the chief of staff for the program and support all aspects of player care. This is a non-coaching position which coordinates the operational details of these programs including the following:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional years of experience are preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
If filled as Athletic Operations Specialist - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None If filled as Athletic Operations Specialist - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $51,000.00 - $81,500.00.
