What you’ll be doing

Simplii is transforming how millions of Canadians manage their money. The Marketing team is central to the Simplii organization. We turn complexity into clarity – collaborating across product, media, growth, operations, analytics, compliance, and risk – to craft campaigns and communications that resonate with our clients and address real human needs.  

As Director of Marketing at Simplii Financial, you will drive growth and innovation by contributing to a high-performing team in an agile environment. Working within agile squads to inform in-house creative based on our high level campaigns, your role will be to drive acquisition across paid and owned digital channels. You will champion a test-and-learn culture - leveraging agile methodologies to accelerate creative assets and iteration. Your leadership will ensure that every sprint delivers actionable insights, measurable results, and continuous improvement. By collaborating closely with internal teams and partners, you will deliver data-driven, impactful campaigns that prioritize client needs and uphold the highest standards of execution.

How you’ll succeed

  • Work with the team to deliver on Simplii’s quarterly marketing performance KPIs, ensuring brand and product communications are on brand and conversion driven.
  • Drive client acquisition by converting demand into new Simplii clients through optimized, data-driven marketing execution
  • Leverage agile methodologies to accelerate campaign cycles - rapidly ideating, producing, testing, and scaling creative and media strategies.
  • Harness data and insights to inform audience targeting, and channel mix, relentlessly pursuing higher ROI and customer engagement.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution and alignment to business goals.
  • Champion operational excellence by continuously improving processes, workflows, and standards for creative development, campaign management, and measurement.
  • Serve as a steward of the Simplii brand, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Demonstrate a passion for understanding customers - leveraging data and insights to develop strategies that enhance interactions and foster lasting relationships.

  • A seasoned marketer with over 10+ years in marketing and leadership experience, you bring a rich perspective and a genuine enthusiasm for making a difference. You love rolling up your sleeves, guiding teams, and leading projects that truly matter.

  • Believe in making decisions with a clear head and solid information, using logic, data, and structured thinking to guide your approach. At the same time, you’re comfortable moving forward even when all the data isn’t available, trusting your experience and judgment to keep things progressing
