Director of College & Postsecondary Success
(2026-2027 School Year)
Coney Island Preparatory Public Charter School
Brooklyn, New York
What is the Role?
At the very heart of Coney Island Prep’s (CIP) mission, we believe all scholars deserve the opportunity to succeed in the college and career of their choice, yet systemic barriers create pronounced disparities in educational opportunities and outcomes. The role of our Director of College & Postsecondary Success is central to ensuring our scholars reach college by building the academic, career, and leadership potential of students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. As Director of College & Postsecondary Success, you’re motivated to partner with families, teachers, and school leadership to provide the support and resources high school students need to achieve their goals in and out of the classroom -- and gain admittance to top-tier colleges and universities. Our direct work with students is complemented by collaborations with the CIP Alumni Team and diverse community partners that address systemic barriers impacting students’ holistic progress and success.
